Karen Patterson has been the art and design faculty advisor to Point of View magazine since 2011.  She is an Associate Professor of Art History at Harper College and holds an MA in Art History from the University of California, Riverside, and BFA’s in Photography and Art History from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.  She is so proud of the quality of this year’s issue and thanks the student editor team and co-advisor Anne Davidovicz for their talent, creativity, and unfailing dedication.  Kudos to all the student artists and authors whose contributions helped make the magazine the success it is.  Your work is amazing—keep it up!
