I have been attending Harper College since Fall of 2014. I am pursing my Associate's in Psychology and my Teaching Assistant Certificate. I would like to possibly go to school and pursue my B.A. in Psychology.

This was my first year as the literary editor for the Point of View Magazine and it was an interesting fun experience with judges and the team. Everyone made it a great experience.
I have been writing since I was in elementary, but those little poems and stories consisted of "What is love, I love you" and characters going on all sorts of childish adventures. I heavily pursued writing in middle school around when my grandmother passed away. I feel like that really drove me on a strong, inspired path because journaling my feelings turned into poems and I discovered a huge world of poetry. Over the years I have experimented, played around, written seriously with my poetry and different things have inspired me. Heartaches, love, anger, passion, loss, motivation, and all sorts of things have driven me to write. My teachers, my family, my friends, and my past loves have inspired me to write. I am blessed because I adore writing poetry and I want to keep writing for the rest of my life. In high school I participated in poetry slams and at Harper I participated in Open Mics. I would love to publish my work slowly and openly go to more Open Mics at different places.

Some interesting facts about myself is that I love listening to music, reading, writing, I love to dye my hair different colors, and I tend to love and spread positive vibes. My life is a book still in the process of still being written. :)
